Gym still closed? Covid-19 has made it really difficult for people to feel as though they are getting a good, fulfilling workout. Not having access to those big machines and dumbbells can make you believe that working out at home will not be as beneficial. But staying in shape and losing weight at home during the pandemic is totally doable! Back in 2019, Brazilian researchers, writing in the journal Experimental Gerontology, reported that when it comes to building muscle, bodyweight training and resistance training are "indistinguishable" from one another. Bodyweight exercises are not only beneficial in the age of Coronavirus, but they also will increase your mobility and stability as well as helping you develop solid technique and injury prevention.
